Presentation of the new Brochure "Die Mainzer Inschriften"

Finally it is done. The first booklet of the new series "Die Mainzer Inschriften" is going to be presented to the public on Friday the 19th November 2010 at the Erbacher Hof, Mainz. All friends of inscriptions are welcome to participate. The general aim of the project "Mainzer Inschriften" is to re-edit the volume: Mainzer Inschriften (Inscriptions of Mainz) by Fritz Viktor Arens, which is out of print for a long time, according to nowadays guidelines, supplement it, and make it accessable in printed and digital online version to the public.

[Translate to English:]

The large stock of over 1800 inscriptions of Mainz demands a gradual publishment of the newly arranged editions in multiple units.
